XTalanta has one purpose: to bring prosperity to communities in Africa. We will achieve our vision by:

We firmly believe that African nations have a huge untapped talent pool, ranging from brilliant academics, multi-lingual entrepreneurs, amazing customer servers, musicians, sports and performing artists. Our aim is for the XTalanta platform to become the one place where all talented people from African communities can be found.

We started our journey in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), but are expanding to Ghana and Nigeria

With vast natural resources, which, according to the USA International Trade Administration (USA ITA), remains mostly untapped and has a staggering estimated value of $24 trillion, the DRC presents a significant business opportunity. DRC is Africa’s largest producer of copper, and the world’s largest producer of cobalt, a strategic metal used in battery manufacture. DRC has exceptional natural resources, and a significant role to play in the global climate change agenda, with great potential for renewable energy, such as hydroelectric power, vast arable land, tremendous biodiversity and the second largest tropical rain forest in the world.  It is not surprising that some major western companies are already establishing a presence in the capital of Kinshasa. Crucially, the USA ITA suggests that exporting to DRC can offer high profit margins because the market is not yet saturated with competition.

Anybody with internet access can register on the XTalanta platform for free at www.xtalanta.com. Upon registration, members are encouraged to rate themselves on a range of skills using a star rating. Members of XTalanta can find global opportunities through posts published on the platform. At the same time, global businesses, investors, and sponsors can find talent by searching for members with specific skills on the XTalanta platform. For example, if an organisation is looking for somebody that can speak French and English and has good IT skills then they can search members based on that skill set.
